Brenna Allen

(CO-DIRECTOR) Brenna has been dancing for 13 years and teaching for the past 5 years. She started dancing on BDA dance company and then joined Xtreme Dance Force in 2007 and was a dancer on the company for 7 years. Brenna has traveled regionally and nationally and played a huge role on the company helping Xtreme win 7 Starpower World Victory Cups. Brenna has had the opportunity to work with top choreographers such as Bobby Newberry, Nika Kljun, Bryan Tanaka, Kevin Maher, Hannah Wintrode, Matt Steffanina, Matt Cady, Kyle Hanagami, Robert Hoffman,Nick Bass and many more. Brenna has always had a passion for teaching and working with kids as she has worked as an assistant Co Director and guest choreographer for Xtreme over the years. Brenna was awarded dancer of the year many times while she was on Xtreme and was chosen as Captain of her division her last 2 years. She is currently pursuing her bachelors degree and working for Xtreme full-time as a Co Director this coming season!


Brenna Allen instructs the following:
  • Hip Hop II (Ages 7-8)
  • Warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This intermediate level class is for ages 7 to 8.


    Requirements for Level II Classes:

    Must have Teacher evaluation approval for the level.



  • Hip Hop I ( Age 9-11)
  • Extensive warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This beginner level class is for any beginner ages 9-11.


  • Hip Hop II (Ages 5-6)
  • Warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This intermediate level class is for ages 5-6.

    Requirements for Level II Classes:

    Must have Teacher evaluation approval for the level.



  • Hip Hop II ( Ages 12+)
  • This Intermediate Hip Hop class is geared towards the older student who is at the Intermediate level. Warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This intermediate level class is geared towards ages 12 and up.

     

    Requirements for Level II Classes:

    Must have Teacher evaluation approval for the level.


  • Fun With Dance (Ages 3-4)
  • Children’s program combination class where four styles of dance are taught. Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet and Jazz styles are all taught in this class. Each week you will switch off between Ballet/Jazz and Hip Hop/Tap. The first week of the term will begin with Ballet/Jazz. The Ballet and Jazz week you can wear a leotard and tights with ballet shoes. This week you will work at the barre to learn ballet and across the floor progressions to learn jazz technique. The Hip Hop and Tap week you can wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes and tap shoes. This week you will work on basic hip hop moves geared towards the class age group and tap basics taught with rhythmic combinations. See Children’s Program page for the PDF file schedule.


  • Fun With Dance (Ages 2-3)
  • Children’s program combination class where four styles of dance are taught. Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet and Jazz styles are all taught in this class.   • Hip Hop I (Ages 12+)
  • This Beginner Hip Hop class is geared towards the older student who is at the beginner level. Warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This beginner level class is geared towards ages 12 and up.

  • Hip Hop I (Ages 9-11)
