Elizabeth Rivera

Elizabeth Rivera was born in Aurora, Illinois but raised in Oswego, Illinois. Elizabeth started her dance journey at the age of 5 at a local park district, but later transitioned to the competitive dance world and decided to audition for Xtreme’s competitive team where she was then placed on Team Gold in 2012. Ever since then she has been a loyal member for 10 years under the training of Sam Renzetti, JC Renzetti, Samantha Kotrba, Robert Lewis, Devon Perri, Vic Ocasio, Alvin Ramirez, and Susan Skrzymowski. Elizabeth has also had the opportunity to work with top choreographers and teachers in the nation such as Monyett Crump, Andrew Phan, Josh Killacky, Hamilton Evans, Chuck Maldonado, Matt Pumanes, Tricia Miranda, Ade Willis, Sean Lew, Kaycee Rice and many more. During her time on the competitive team, she have received many awards and opportunities with the company such as auditioning for America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, and The Chicago Bulls halftime show. She is also grateful to have won 7 Victory Cups during her time on the company. Elizabeth was also a member of the Oswego High School Dance team during her Junior and Senior year where she was fortunate to learn Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern and more but chooses to have hip hop as her primary focus. In terms of school, she will be pursuing her associates degree in Early Childhood Education at Waubonsee Community College. Elizabeth is very thrilled to be able to share her craft and knowledge to the next generation of dancers to come.

Hip Hop I (Ages 5-6)
Hip Hop style of dance to younger students ages 5-6. Combinations are taught at the beginner level to popular children songs age appropriate.

Hip Hop I (Ages 9-11)
Extensive warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This class is for ages 9-11.

Hip Hop I (Ages 7-8)
Warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. This beginner level class is for ages 7 to 8.

Advanced hip hop for Ages 12 and up

This class focuses on physical growth, flexibility, coordination, and technique in Hip Hop. For ages 4-5
